MONTBLANC WRITERS EDITION: ANTOINE DE SAINT-EXUPÉRY
The shape of the Limited Edition dedicated to the great French writer and pioneering aviator Antoine Marie Jean-Baptiste Roger, Viscount of Saint-Exupéry, recalls his Caudron Simoun aircraft through the engravings inserted into its midnight blue precious resin barrel and the cap that recalls the rivets of the apparatus, while the rest of the accessories covered in platinum symbolize the cabin of said aircraft.
Likewise, and as a nod to his nomadic life and his long journeys, the geographical position of important cities in the life of Saint-Exupéry appears delicately engraved on the cone of the fountain pen. And of course, the precious star of the story of “The Little Prince”, one of the most famous children’s books and for which he achieved the greatest worldwide notoriety, is engraved on its Au750 solid gold nib covered in platinum. In this same line of recognition of his literary heritage, the cap is adorned with an engraving of his signature.
