About Omas fountain pens
Omas was founded in Bologna, Italy in 1925 by Armando Simoni, who designed equipment and tools for the company to manufacture Omas pens. The name OMAS comes from the first letters of Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, a name synonymous with quality and contemporary design today.
The largest fountain pen made as a non-limited edition at OMAS includes the 12-facet Paragon model, the second largest being the Milord Collection. The Omas product range was last updated in 2005 with the Milord model, which is sized as the pre-2005 Paragon model. OMAS continued to release limited editions based on their previous style pens.
ITALIAN ART tribute to the fabulous thirties, the decade that significantly marked the history of Omas.
ART DECO
A true name of the Arte Italiana Art Deco Collection comes from the Art Deco design style that greatly influenced the elegant and expressive choices of the 1930s. It is based on the twelve-sided model of Arte Italiana, undoubtedly a classic in the field of fine writing instruments.
The collection comes in two versions: a Certified Edition and a Limited Edition, both handmade following the ancient Omas tradition.
The nib is made of a distinctive natural titanium, polished and adorned with the classic Omas arrowhead engraving.
THE LIMITED EDITION, available only in a piston fountain pen, is the perfect combination of tradition and modernity from Omas. Based on the historic The Paragon model, it is adorned with a rare pearl gray cotton resin, along with elegant stucco engraving, a classic 1930s pattern that has been reproduced on both the lid and body.
The limited edition is adorned with the historic Greek Omas design on both the cap and barrel, with a wheel mounted on the clip.
