The pen is an Ogiva 557 in red briarwood.

Beautiful fountain pen Omas Ogiva “Amerigo Vespucci” entirely made of fine wood briar, large size (15 cm)
Two-tone 18kt gold nib size F, piston filling, including the box also in briar with interlocking closure.
The packaging is very elaborate: the box is contained in a piece of of fabric coming from a sail.
Inside the box there is room fro the pen and for a tube in briarwood which is meant to be used as a pen case.
Every detail of the pen and its packaging is designed to recall the famous Italian vessel, which is depicted on the outer box, too.
It is definitely a high quality limited Edition which testifies Omas’ attention to details and their evocative power.
