The pen / nib has a hatch that prevents the ink from drying out when closed. The capless fountain pen is equipped with an 18k gold nib (750au) available in fine, medium.
Its click-to-expose nib mechanism makes it behave like a ballpoint pen, but with the joy and smoothness of using a fountain pen.
