The first step in creating the Raden 1000 Green Ray fountain pen is to give the surface of the body a deep black lacquer using the special Japanese Urushi technique.
Afterwards, the traditional stripes made with white mother-of-pearl particles are created, which are later joined to the cap and the body by means of lacquering.
Finally, each fountain pen is individually signed and numbered by the artist using the Maki-e technique.
The M1000 Raden White Ray is presented in a traditional Japanese Paulownia wood gift box.
The Raden M1000 White Ray will be available from September 2021 in a limited edition of 400 pieces worldwide.
