Limited Edition – Spirit of 1838
SPIRIT OF 1838
From chemist to king of inks. Carl Hornemann had two important traits that characterized his undertakings: scientific expertise and great passion. With these two virtues, he founded a paint and ink factory that grew to become a highly successful international company. Pelikan celebrates its “180 years of passion” on April 28.
Our anniversary icon is a tribute to the elegant creation that has aroused boundless desire for decades: the Souverän, with its elegant striped look. Our classic in green and black is Pelikan’s brand ambassador and flagship. These days he seduces his users in an elegant silver and black edition. A charismatic presence with a unique spirit.
Small stones with a dazzling effect. The famous pelican is seen on the hood protecting her chicks and if you look closely you will find that she has placed three brand new diamonds in her nest. These represent the values of trust, durability and the prestige of being “made in Germany”, characteristics that Pelikan takes very seriously. a brilliant idea
a prestigious heart
The nib represents the heart of each fountain pen. Using genuine flair and decades of experience, our highly skilled craftsmen produce fine gold pieces with a unique character: a gold silver plated nib with a special engraving, crowning the “Spirit of 1838”. You can tell at first glance: the ink in this fountain pen is also his blood.
Each piece is unique. Each piece is also a favorite. Each piece bears a limited edition number, also engraved. While this may sound quite technical, it also means that there is an extraordinary and natural appeal to these pens: the allure of exclusivity. Limited editions create desire: the desire to own one of the 180 pieces created for everyone. Although one hundred and eighty may seem like a small number, the pleasure will last a lifetime.
Classic elegance meets premium finish. High-gloss silver ornamentation adorns the cap, rings and Pelikan clip of our anniversary edition. The body looks elegant with fine sterling silver and smooth guilloche. If you are lucky enough to call this treasure “yours”, it will surely be a favorite in your collection.
