The “Spring & Autumn” is a masterpiece that combines Pelikan Germany craftsmanship based on more than 175 years of tradition and technology together with traditional Japanese Maki-e painting techniques. The Pelikan logo on the crown, the Limited edition number and artist signature have been hand drawn on each fountain pen using maki-e techniques.
Each fountain pen is equipped with 18 karat, a two-tone gold nib, and a traditional Japanese case made of paulownia wood. This series is limited to an edition of only 111 pieces worldwide.

Maki-e Spring & Autumn
As symbols of spring and autumn, we find the cherry blossom and maple drawn on the cover and the body of the fountain pen. Three traditional Japanese designs are represented on the bottom of the cap: a stream of water in the green area, a hemp leaf pattern in the brown area, and a gold stripe applied using a large number of small pieces. of gold leaf. Additional artistic designs have been drawn on the body of the fountain pen, along with small pieces of blue shell used to represent the beautiful Raden stripe. A line pattern that never ends, is drawn in the violet area that represents and implies eternal love. The Harikiri technique, considered one of the most difficult Maki-e techniques, is also used in the silver area offering a dramatic and beautiful finishing touch to this exquisite fountain pen.
