Namiki Capless Clover Features the famed symbol of good luck to signify the blessing upon the beholder. An alluring mixed of three-leaf and four-leaf clovers are richly interpreted and contrast brilliantly against midnight black lacquer base with each leaf representing hope, faith, love and good luck. Hand-painted using the Hira Maki-e technique. This technique is created by using several layers of coloured Urushi lacquer and raw lacquer which are then coated and sprinkles of gold powder and then burnished for a deep lustrous gloss. The Namiki Capless features a retractable nib mechanism that works with a simple push at the top of the fountain pen. This unique technology is to ensure that nib is enclosed in an air-tight seal that prevent the ink from drying out. -

4.800,00€Only 200 limited edition pens have been produced worldwide. The body of the Yukari Royale size pen has been decorated by the skilled artisan Seiki employing refined Maki-e techniques. These include several kinds of height by using the Togidashi Take (Burnished-Raised) Maki-e technique, and the Taka Maki-e (high relief) technique. The relief of the Catfish on body is the highest and the Gourd on the center on the cap is created with platinum powder. The veins of the leaves are decorated by the Kakiwari technique in which black lacquer is left over and by the Bokashi (shading off) technique.
