The Montegrappa Citta D’ Arte Venezia fountain pen pays homage to Italy’s culture and tradition; primarily the world renowned city of Venice. This sterling silver fountain pen was created using the ancient die-casting technique as well as a wax casting technique that is later finished by hand.
The hallmark of this pen is its intricate design of Saint Mark’s Basilica on the barrel of the writing instrument. Several details of the building’s distinctive architecture can be seen including the four horses above the main entrance and the rosettes on its facade.
A rosette decorates the 18K white gold nib with yellow gold embellishments. The cap top is decorated with a lion, inspired by one of the centuries-old symbols of Saint Mark. Lastly, the lacquer cap and barrel tip are in Venetian red to represent the illustrious history of one of the world’s most cherished cities.

Body and cap are in matt black lacquer, with a feel close to rubber, embellished with silver bands and attributes. The tip of the end of the body is engraved with the logo of the America’s cup, the cap is screwed.
