The Montparnasse was available in two sizes, the Standard and Large – this is the Large version and at 13.8cms capped, it’s a large pen. As with all Dupont pens, the quality of fit and finish is something to behold, with all elements being beautifully finished. This silver-plated version, with its finely engraved godron style cap and barrel, is a very handsome writing instrument.
It’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) pen, so you have the best of both worlds. It’s fitted with an 18k medium nib.

The shape of the writing instrument is based on the shape of a car engine spark plug, inspired by Elvis’s love of V8 engines, as well as the shape of the clip. Motif on cap and barrel finished with the gold ring he wore during the “Aloha from Hawaii” concert.
