Omas Tokio Green fountain pen
475,00€The Tokyo line of piston fillers was introduced by Omas in 1993. The model had been designed by the famous industrial designer E. Sottsass who drew inspiration from Oriental minimalism to develop the project of the pen.
The clip is simple and linear and the round shape at the top recalls the initial “O” from Omas.
The Tokyo was produced in colorful resin in an nice array of colors: viridian green, lychee nut green, blue Venezia, persimmon orange and classic black.
The nib was originally gold plated steel, with a typical decoration, as the model was meant for a young market and was not supposed to be too expensive.
Gold nibs exist, too and are very rare and desirable.
This pen is pre-owned but it is in excellent condition with very minimal traces of use.

The nibs of the Souverän piston filler M1000 and M800 are made of 18 carat/750 gold, the nibs of the models M600, M400 and M300 consist of 14 carat/585 gold. All nibs are refined with a rhodium decor and their writing qualities were tested by hand.
