The Visconti Divina Proportione Silver Limited Edition is made of a beautiful celluloid mixture of various browns that give it an appearance of briar wood, and silver.
On the cap we see that the crown is decorated with the name and anagram of the brand and the curved clip bears on its sides, on a black background, the name “VISCONTI”.
In the body we find a small window that allows us to see the ink, next to which the original closure system called Hook SafeLock stands out.
In the shorts we have a metallic button where the part number is found over the total manufactured and that when pressed gives us access to the loading system called Pull Touch Down.
The nib is 18K, with a platinum mask and crescent-shaped vent, typical of the brand, where we can read “VISCONTI”, “18K – 750” and “Firenze”.

Design and create a fountain pen
“divine” is not easy at all! It is a challenge that can scare the most capable designer as well as the most experienced technician. The basic ideas are: the golden number, the pentagram, the nautilus.
• The golden number 1,618, base of the
“Divine Proportion and relationship between the length of the cap and the length of the closed and open fountain pen.
The pentagram in the shape of the fountain pen, aptly accommodated to the ergonomic needs of the writing object.
The nautilus, as will already be known, is a
“golden spiral built according to the Fibonacci sequence. It is precisely the golden spiral that defines the body of the Divina fountain pen made by Visconti.
After defining the aesthetic canons and design, we have solved the technical problems by bringing innovations to both the cap closure system and the filling system, “Hook Safe Lock* (H.S.L.)
is the new cap closure system that prevents the body from accidentally unscrewing and also ensures the perfect correspondence of the golden spiral both with the closed and open fountain pen.

It is a filling system with “Power Filler” technology designed to disappear inside the body and be activated very simply with a “click”.
Visconti provides you with a tool capable of revealing and identifying the Divine Proportion and the golden ratio: the golden ratio. This tool, equipped with three movable tips, allows you to calculate the golden section from 0 to 15 centimeters (6 inches).
They can find out how it works by measuring the ratio of the two sides of the golden rectangle of a credit card.

Depress the metal ring and remove the cap;
Pull out the plunger completely;
Introduce the nib inside the ink well up to the section;
Press the stylus plunger down in a single, dry motion;
count to five;
Thoroughly dry the nib and section;
To empty the fountain pen from the ink well, repeat points 1, 2 and 4 but taking care not to leave the nib submerged in the ink.
