Oscar Wilde is quoted as saying: “I have very simple tastes. “I am always satisfied with the best.” This sentiment is reflected in each Writers Edition pen created in his honor.

The unconventionally decorated body, made of precious marbled resin, and the numerous details hint at the passionate spirit of Oscar Wilde. Both the clip and the frames are made of 925 sterling silver with gold plating. An engraved signature of the author decorates the cap of the pen. And the handcrafted 18-karat gold nib, with its highly detailed engravings in the style of the era in which Wilde lived, completes this extraordinary tribute to an extraordinary person.

Launched in 1994, the Montblanc Oscar Wilde series is limited to 15,000 fountain pens, 8,000 ballpoint pens, 7,000 mechanical pencils and 5,000 sets, which include a medium nib fountain pen, a ballpoint pen and a mechanical pencil.
