The airbrush artist, Claudio Mazzi, designed six fountain pens for Visconti released in 2005. Each pen was hand-painted by Mazzi in an edition of just 205. The pens all followed a theme, in this case of a tribute to the Spanish poet and playwright Federico Garcia Lorca, who was killed in 1936, shortly after the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War.

The pen has lines from his poem “Lament For The Death Of A Bullfighter” on the cap, with Lorca’s signature, and a picture of the charging bull on the barrel. The cap and barrel are made of resin, and the cap band is engraved with the joint names of Visconti and Mazzi.

The artist has signed the barrel with the name of the pen and the edition number below the picture. This fountain pen is number 056/205.

The nib is a 14k fine point and the pen has the Visconti piston converter.
